The
World
Today
It is true. There is an environmental crisis in our midst.
Global Warming Or Carbon Overload?
Many scientists give their opinion that the strange weather and
excessive storms we are experiencing are a natural occurence called
Global Warming and they will tell you there is nothing that can be done
about it. They will say we should just accept it and try to learn
some survival techniques. Their only solution is to keep spending
time and money researching the situation to see when and where it will
happen first.
Our
research has shown us that even their own scientific data
reflects the fact that what we are experiencing is not natural, and
that we should not be expecting a natural occurence of Global Warming
in our lifetime. Our research points to the conclusion that there
has been too much carbon emitted into the atmosphere creating an
"imitation" of the natural version of global warming. You can see
some of this research for yourself in our discussion of Carbon
Overload.
Do We Really Need Food & Water?
Regardless of what you believe about the Global Warming syndrome, you
cannot deny that our overuse of fossil fuels and toxic chemicals have
caused, and are still causing, damage to the environment, the very same
environment that serves as the host of our food and water supply.
So it doesn't really matter who is right about Global Warming. If
we do not do something now about eliminating toxic emissions we will
not have the food and water needed to live long enough to find out who
was right anyway.
It is important to realize that there are so many toxic industries
lining our
shores right now, that if there was a flood from the ice caps melting,
it would result in a very quick end to our drinking water supplies.
Don't Tell Me It Doesn't Affect You
Many
people have taken the stand that they don't care and they don't have
any ambition to become involved cause none of this will affect
them. Some believe they have secured their future, by building
a nest egg, and they have lots of money to get through their
retirement days.
It is a real fact that if we do nothing, and carry on with damage to
the environment, all the things you need to survive will become scarce.
When things become scarce, they tend to go up in cost. So now,
with the realization that your retirement savings will probably be less
than half their value by the time you retire, count the eggs in your
nest again. Do you
still have enough to make it through or should you get back in the game
and help with the solutions to fix the problems?
Some people even have the odacity to say they don't care because they
will be dead before anything serious happens. There really isn't
much to say to this type of character, other than to say they are just
plain selfish, and probably would not have much to contribute to
solutions anyway. It would probably be best to let nature take
it's own course on these individuals.
Life Is An Education
It is true that many of the things we are doing by the way we live, are
causing harm to the environment, but like
everything else in life, we can view it as an education. Look at
it this way. We now know what not to do. We have always
been able to pull together in a time of crisis, so why should this
crisis be any different? We have the education, we have the
skills, we have the solutions to resolve this crisis too.
Not sure where to begin? Well, there are many things you can
do. Brilyn has spent many years researching the solutions around
the world and is now working hard to bring this information to you on
this website and in print for those who do not access the internet.
A good starting point would be right here on our website. We have
listed some of the projects we are working on under the heading Solutions
For
Sustainability.
These will give you some insight as to some of the work we are doing
and some of the existing
technologies being used around the world by countries taking part in
the Global Challenge to reduce emissions. We have included links
to many of the sites we use for our own research and you can view
these as well under the heading Renewable
Resource
Links.
Everything Old Is New Again
We can use the knowledge from life's "education" and take a closer
look at some of the technologies we use today. If we combine some
of the older technologies with with some new ideas
to make them cleaner and more efficient we can begin to create
sustainable
changes that will help to reduce and eventually eliminate environmental
damage.
For example, take a look at our project Hydrogen/Gas
Hybrid
Conversion.
This is a perfect example of old technology combined with new
ideas. Simple modifications to an existing gas powered vehicle
cause it to burn the gas more efficiently so that none of it is wasted,
thereby reducing emissions, and saving money on gas. This
technology also allows your engine to run cleaner, which extends the
life of engine parts.
Welcome To Brilyn's New Form of Radicalism
"Do Something About It"
We could spend
the rest of our lives, researching what will happen if we don't stop
polluting the environment or we can sit around and blame the
politicians and the rich people and everyone else we can think of, but
we at Brilyn Estates have a better idea. Why not wake up and
realize that there are things we can do about it, and just start doing
it. The problems will not "go away" simply by ignoring them or
whining about them, we need to make change happen.
The Future's So Bright....
Step into the
light and join us as we begin a new course for the future. One
that holds the opportunity for a sustainable environment, a sustainable
economy
and one that will prove to be a respectable legacy to leave for future
generations to follow.
